Any special relative, person, or event that led to your interest
in your branch of service?
No, I joined ROTC while attending Mississippi Valley State University during
the early 1980s, because my plan was to joined the military after high school.
What made you decide?
Army Motto "US Army do more by 0900 hrs than most folks do all day." I liked
the ideal of becoming an officer and being in charge.

Was there anyone in your OCS class that had an impact on you?
MSG Jesse from Opps, Alabama was my mentor while enrolled in the ROTC program.
MSG Jesse impacted my entire ROTC class; he instilled life and military values.

ranks.
Over the years, I worked with all type of personalities officers and enlisted
personnel; however, we managed to accomplished the ultimate goals or taskers.
Now as a female field grade officer, diversity distinctions continue to exist
which causes me to work harder. For example, I research every aspect of my
work (not micro managing), by conducting a personal mission analysis before
presenting.
Your actions that resulted in combat award(s)? OIF/OEF deployment I was the 3d PERSOM director AG Theater Plans and Operations Officers
Describe your involvement in of historical events such as amphibious
landings, famous battles, or otherwise notable deeds?
As the AG theater planner, my priority responsibilities were to project the
number of AG combat service support troops for 05-07 / 06-08, complete the
task organization for all troops in the entire theater which include Kuwait,
Djibouti, Qatar, Iraq, and Afghanistan, updated the commander daily on theater
activities to include the causalities report and other significant activities.
Describe your opinion of the enemy; enemy tactics; your unit's
performance.
I was stationed in Kuwait but traveled to other regions in the theater; I
hated to leave the base camp in Kuwait due to the road damage. My unit performed
outstanding during deployment supporting the warriors. My opinion was not
trusting of the enemy
